What We Thought
Since the beginning of the time, sound has been a great factor. Because of this fact, manufacturers have improved their speaker system ever since. In this time of high technology and computers, the simple analog sound has become more sophisticated and became digital. Labtec - LCS-2414 is a very good example of the speaker system progress.
It consists of three items, namely the two cute satellite speakers and the sub-woofer unit. Its box is compact, only 8cm and made of wood that produces a better bass reflex sound. The power switch and light indicator is located in the top of the sub woofer box
The light that indicates that it is turned on, and the on and off switch are fixed above the sub-woofer box which is probably not the best location. There is only one control for the volume and bass. Three wires are dangling from the right satellite speaker others only have two.
In terms of sound quality, the sub woofer has a low bass level in terms of amplification, the volume of the source should be turned at a high position to hear the louder sound.
A better response was made by the two satellite speakers, even though they are small in size, their sound was very strong and very spacious with a very good treble output. The surround effect was so good that even over shadowed the center stereo effect.
The price is quite affordable compared to the other systems of its class. The built is just right for its price.
