What We Thought:
The headsets were a shocker when brought into the market since the gaming console itself did not pick up much. The sole reason of the push is the extremely low pricing and its availability. The headsets are quite simple, but very comfortable and old fashion. The microphone is detachable which is a good utility. The sound is quite containing and holds very well. Even when you are sitting in close proximities the sound does not disturb anyone. Even at the maximum levels of sound it does not effect the person sitting nearby. The sound reproduction is quite decent and does not disappoint much. But, the headphone does not cope well when the bass output is ramped up. While the headphone is used for the gaming purposes, the performance does not hold for the high levels of output. The games would surely need better performing headsets.
The microphone also performed to a basic level and any expectations on the niche would be a disappointment. The manufacturing attributes of the headphone are good and well taken care of. The build quality is also good. The cable with the headphone is quite lengthy and you can have a separate box for controlling the volume and muting it. The best part is the positioning of the product which is in a comfortable category of inexpensive and decent performance headphone and this product definitely fulfills that. |
